It started as a theory. Two elements, different, yet when united, became one. A compound, but they weren’t chemists, and the lab they knew didn’t have chemicals and beakers. Many had come before them, but this new substance was something new. Something different, something unique. Their three “R’s” were rock, rhythm and rhyme, but to this day, they are leaders in the more famous three “R’s”. Reaching across the globe, they have influenced a generation and inspired many. While their newest mixture of medleys may resonate differently than the first time, we still marvel at those early works, which paved the path which they still journey today, from an apartment in Los Angeles to sell out shows in Japan. And now, a relic from those early days has resurfaced, for all to see. What is this I speak of? Well, those answers aren’t so clear.
