It has been one year since I opened the Linkin Park Projekt! Here is the announcement from LPP:
I am extremely proud to announce that today, Valentines Day (fittingly) marks the one year anniversary of the opening of the Linkin Park Projekt! We have come a long way since Fort Minor World and Machine Shop Spot. It seems like just yesterday we opened, as it has gone so fast. For the past 365 days we have been brining you up to date news and discussion, as well as being your number one site for rips and live shows. Every day we grow as a community, with members of all ages and from all corners of the globe. Thanks to you guys, we have become one of the biggest and most popular Linkin Park fan sites, and we will only be getting better.

A Theory
Posted on: February 7th, 2008It started as a theory. Two elements, different, yet when united, became one. A compound, but they weren’t chemists, and the lab they knew didn’t have chemicals and beakers. Many had come before them, but this new substance was something new. Something different, something unique. Their three “R’s†were rock, rhythm and rhyme, but to this day, they are leaders in the more famous three “R’sâ€. Reaching across the globe, they have influenced a generation and inspired many. While their newest mixture of medleys may resonate differently than the first time, we still marvel at those early works, which paved the path which they still journey today, from an apartment in Los Angeles to sell out shows in Japan. And now, a relic from those early days has resurfaced, for all to see. What is this I speak of? Well, those answers aren’t so clear.
Fuck Yo Couch!
Posted on: December 16th, 2007Yessir. I’m back. This time for real. New domain, new design.
I’m back at home for almost a month now, for the winter holidays. And since I wasn’t able to get a job over break (fuck you Target), I have lots of time on my hands. That means updates.
First up, SOB Central now has a proper vBulletin forum. Check it out. It’ll be opening tomorrow. And since it’s the only Styles of Beyond fansite, you know Cheap, Ryu, and Tak will probably join up.
Second, in a couple days, we will be opening up a Linkin Park Wiki at LPP. It will be a giant database of Linkin Park knowledge, created by you guys, the fans! Shout out to Reflectionist, the brains behind this projekt.
We are beginning to develop LPP v2.0. Its going to be awesome. In addition to the wiki, theres lots of great features that we will be adding to the site, in addition to an updated design. You guys are going to love it.
So now that I’m home, I can play Halo 3 at 1080i on our HD widescreen. Oh man, its beautiful. Unfortunately, our internet is having some issues that is preventing me from playing Xbox Live without being booted, so on Monday Comcast will be getting a nice friendly phone call from me. The new maps are pretty dope, also. I’ll be posting my Halo 3 pics, vids, and stats in the Halo section.
I will also be making sections for my photography, works of literature, graphics, and web designs.
The new Lupe Fiasco album is amazing. Be sure to pick a copy (or four) this Tuesday.
I promise to keep this updated. haha.

Linkin Park fans disappointed with Warner, Sparkart, Bandmerch
Posted on: June 29th, 2007As the owner of a popular Linkin Park fan site, and an active member of many Linkin Park online communities, including the official Linkin Park and Linkin Park Underground message boards, lately I have noticed and experienced a growing unhappiness in the service and customer support that Linkin Park fans have (not) been receiving from the two companies that Linkin Park contracts to provide us with merchandise, BandMerch, and the online pay-to-join fan club, LPUnderground, run by Sparkart, as well as Linkin Park’s record label, Warner Brothers. For those of you who are not familiar, BandMerch was started by Don Delson, the father of Brad Delson, the lead guitarist for the band. Originally created just for Linkin Park, it now serves dozens of different band’s merchandising needs. The Linkin Park Underground was created as the official fan club for Linkin Park, and is managed by the flash wizards at Sparkart.
This year, the trouble first started for many when Read the rest of this entry »
